What do we do with what we don’t eat from cows? Here I found a well-laid out fact sheet that most likely reflect the US situation. With this as a point of departure, I will have to visit the slaughter houses and process factories to find out the exact figure in Finland. One thing I’ve learnt this week is, from the interview with Tapani, that fur animals are fed on some part of animal products we don’t eat, which is why there has been no mad cow disease in Finland whereas raising fur animal is prohibited in the UK. Isn’t interesting?
